Quote of the Day: Alan Kay

Have you ever wondered where you’ll be with your music in a year’s time, or two, or ten? Anytime you find yourself doing more daydreaming than practicing, a quick look at today’s quote may help you get back on track:

“The best way to predict the future is to create it.”
Alan Kay

I have a copy of this quote posted in plain sight for those moments when I need a nudge. Feel free to do the same if it helps you, too.  :-)

Practicing isn’t always fun, but it is always rewarding. All the best to you as you create your musical future!

Keep playing,
Mark

Weirdest coincidence! I first read that quote many years ago on a friend’s myspace and just today decided to look up who said it. Sure enough I recognized the name on your recent articles list. Words of wisdom!
