		<description>well after looking at the comparison deal you put here im astonished this is the only soft plastic one one there. yes it does little for durability but the softness alows for it to absorb the vibrations beter. ive been playing around with diffrent material and found that if you cut up some old jeans into strips and wrap that around the spindle part it is the most efective filler. thanks for this im in a dorm and cant practice load, im dirt poor and just baught a beater trumpet for $20 and was not about to spend $45+ on a mute.</description>

		<description>I made this mute&#039;s &quot;cork&quot; out of masking tape.  The whole mute costed $2.33.  You can stuff the inside with tissue and pillow stuffing.  Now, I can practice while my mom and dad take there midday nap :)</description>
